friday- went to annette's house. had lots of fun chatting with the ladies and my boys were perfect angels and being super cute. i also got the CUTEST handknitted hat and kimono-style sweater for Doyle from Monica. so after all of this past week's nesting (thursday i scrubbed the boys' bathroom which already needs to be re-cleaned, and even cleaned and conditioned our leather couches) and then all the walking we did on the 4th, yesterday i could barely walk. not even walk at some points and had to resort to crawling around the house on my hands and knees. :/ ( Read more... )

it's bad enough that the sunrises at 6am and there are no curtains in canon's room to block the light out (just mini blinds), but it would REALLY help a momma out if her husband didn't make all kinds of racket in the house as he's getting ready and leaving for work at 5am. all the noise woke me up, woke canon up, and then the noise that canon ( Read more... )

i just spent two flipping hours cleaning canon's room and that's with BOTH of the boys helping me. it would have taken far less time if i hadn't had to put back together the shelves and bins that the boys popped apart. they're just those kind that are wire squares that snap together with those little plastic circular thingys....like this, but we ( Read more... )
